About 250 planners, developers, environmentalists, architects, landscape architects, engineers and others concerned about imagining and working towards the realization of a more livable Colorado gathered in Lakewood on Thursday, September 29, to discuss “Challenging Assumptions: Accommodating Growth/Improving Livability.” Jim Charlier made one of the keynote presentations on the subject of “Impacts –Both Negative and Positive– of Transportation on Livability in Colorado.” A PDF copy of Jim’s presentation is provided below along with a summary list of sustainable transportation principles.
